I started this practice in 2013 out of my second bedroom and with nothing more than a computer and plenty of time on my hands after quitting my previous job. I knew that I wanted to help passionate entrepreneurs create and build companies, and I wanted to be a knowledgeable and accessible resource for them. Like every entrepreneur, I’ve learned so many lessons along the way – one of the most important being that a great team is absolutely necessary to build a lasting company.
I launched NWCL to help Pacific Northwest entrepreneurs
We try to play to our strengths and narrowly focus on helping clients launch, grow, and buy and sell companies with ties to the Pacific Northwest.
Fit is important
We want to work with clients who are excited to work with us, understand the value we can bring, and want to have a relationship for life. I’ve become friends with many of my clients and built some incredible relationships with them over the years.
Something I’ve learned over the years
If you want quick business success, then be early in line before a big opportunity and adapt quickly.
We’re always looking to improve and be more responsive
We listen to what our clients want and adapt to support their needs. For example, our lawyers can work from anywhere and be readily accessible over phone, text, or video for a quick and seamless experience.

Don’t try to be your own lawyer. Related: anyone can post anything on Google, so be careful what you read and make sure you trust the source before relying on it.
The Pacific Northwest is home and is a great place to launch a business
Being on the West Coast, there’s a culture of innovation and forward-thinking creativity here in the Pacific Northwest. That, along with abundant access to the outdoors and friendly, well-educated people, it’s a great place to start and run a business.
